These terms cover Script Novel Studio, a desktop writing application published by Script Novel Publishing ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the studio, you agree to them.
Your purchase gives you a personal license to use Script Novel Studio under the plan you chose. One purchase may be activated on up to 2 computers at a time, and you can manage your active computers from your account page. Your account is for you; plan benefits and credits are tied to the account and are not transferable.
Subscription plans renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. Each plan includes a monthly amount of AI credits that refills at the start of each billing period. Unused monthly credits do not carry over. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your studio stays fully active until then.
When a paid period ends without an active plan, the studio locks: projects no longer open in the app, and editing, AI features, and exports from the app pause. Nothing is deleted. Your project files and any exports you already made stay on your computer and remain yours. Resubscribing restores full access to everything, exactly where you left it.
One-time credit packs add AI credits to your account balance. Purchased credits remain available until you use them. Running out of credits while your subscription is active pauses AI features only; writing and exporting continue.
The lifetime license is a one-time purchase of the software itself. It includes every future version of Script Novel Studio and a one-time grant of 2,500,000 AI credits. It does not include a monthly credit allowance; continued AI use after the included credits works through credit packs or a subscription. A lifetime license never locks.
Everything you write in the studio is yours. Projects are stored on your own computer. When you use an AI feature, the text in that request is sent to our service and AI providers so the agent can do its work; we claim no ownership of your manuscripts, drafts, or exports.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are in US dollars and may change for future purchases; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
Use the studio for your own writing work. Do not share your account to give others access to your plan, attempt to bypass plan or credit limits, or use the service in a way that breaks the law or another person's rights.
